Is Brennan Park getting a new pool or second ice rink?
Brennan Park is Squamish's only pool and arena, and residents have asked for years for more ice, more pool space and more programs. Grant-funded renovations to the existing building are nearly done, but a real expansion has no money set aside. A staff task force is studying what to build, what it would cost and how to pay for it, with results due by about mid 2027.

What each of them said during the campaign
“Major recreation investments, like renewing Brennan Park, should go ahead even if the District has to borrow.”
“The District should borrow to renew Brennan Park now rather than wait until it can be paid for from savings.”
“Capital projects above a set cost should go to a public referendum before council approves them.”
