Can I vote by mail in Squamish?
All eligible voters may apply to vote by mail. Complete the Mail Ballot Application Form and return it in person at Municipal Hall (37955 Second Avenue) or by email to elections@squamish.ca. What ID do I need to vote?
If you register at the voting place, bring two pieces of ID, one with your signature, that together show who you are and where you live. Examples: a BC driver’s licence, BC Services Card, passport or a utility bill. Full list of accepted ID →

Can I vote in Squamish if I own property but live somewhere else?
Instead of living in Squamish, you may qualify if you have been the registered owner of real property in the District of Squamish for at least 30 days immediately before registering, and meet the age, citizenship, 6-month BC residency and not-disqualified requirements. What to bring →

Yes. You do not need to own property. If you live in Squamish and meet the age, citizenship and B.C. residency rules, you can vote.
