If you cross the Paradise Valley Bailey Bridge at night, plan ahead for next week. The bridge will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10. Friday night's planned closure was cancelled because the contractor finished early.

What changes

The overnight closure of the Paradise Valley Bailey Bridge that was planned for Friday, November 6 has been cancelled. The District of Squamish says the contractor finished this phase of work ahead of schedule.

Two more overnight closures are confirmed for next week.

  • Monday, November 9: closed 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Tuesday, November 10: closed 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Each closure starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 6 a.m. the next morning.

Dates could still shift

The District says the dates remain subject to change. Changes could depend on:

  • how the construction is going
  • conditions at the site
  • coordination needs

If you travel over the bridge at night, check for updates before you head out.
