Corridor Trail bridge by the Adventure Centre closes Monday and Tuesday
Walking or biking the Corridor Trail near the Squamish Adventure Centre next week? Expect a detour. The bridge between Robin Drive and the Adventure Centre closes during work hours on Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10 for railing repairs.
What is happening
The District of Squamish is repairing the railings on a bridge along the Corridor Trail. The bridge sits on the section of trail between Robin Drive and the Squamish Adventure Centre.
While the work is done, the bridge will be closed to trail users.
When
- Monday, November 9, during work hours
- Tuesday, November 10, during work hours
The District notice does not give exact start and end times. It says the closure is during work hours on those two days.
What to expect
The District lists these impacts for people using or living near the trail:
- A trail detour around the closed bridge
- Noise from the repair work
- Dust from the repair work
If you usually cross this bridge on foot or by bike, give yourself a little extra time on those two days and follow the detour.
