Why these results are not final

Elections BC says results from the initial count are preliminary. They can still change as they are checked for accuracy and completeness.

Some ballots have not been counted yet:

  • Ballots sent by mail
  • Absentee ballots

These will be counted at the final count. Elections BC does extra checks on these ballots to make sure only eligible voters vote, and that each person votes only once.

What comes next

  • Final count: November 6 to 10, 2026
  • Results become official only when Elections BC declares them

If the final count matches the initial count, the riding's member of the Legislature will be a Green member sitting in opposition to a Conservative government.

You can follow the results on the Elections BC results page.
